Prior systems engineering or software experience, and ideally experience with ERP system. Individual contributor design engineering experience is highly valued. Perform data and systems analysis on source system data (enough to know at least the fields that are needed). ODS is an exception. 2. Ensure source system processes are understood to ensure data can be properly validated. 3. Interact with QA teams when needed to review test plans and test cases. 4. Perform QA testing and follow up when needed. Perform UAT testing when needed. 5. Interact with developers to ensure all questions / issues relating to what they need are met by the PRD. The BSA is responsible for the PRD which contains both Business and Systems requirements. 6. During the PRD phase, perform data analysis to determine the appropriate SQL is being used. 7. Front end requirements need a STM document along with data models. Interact appropriately with BI teams. Test and ensure reports are ‘accurate.’ 8. Interact appropriately with data modeling and architecture teams. Systems analysts should have enough knowledge about the various data modeling techniques to ensure the data model meets their ‘known’ and ‘likely’ business requirements. 9. After the implementation, check to ensure production environment is working as expected.
