Formally established in June 2022, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou)(HKUST(GZ)) is a cooperatively-run university between the Chinese mainland and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. HKUST(GZ) has obtained approval from the Ministry of Education (MoE) and become the first legally-independent educational institution co-established by the Mainland and Hong Kong since the announcement and implementation of the “Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” and the “Overall Plan for Deepening Globally Oriented Comprehensive Co-operation amongst Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao in Nansha of Guangzhou”. Job Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and manage CFT’s computing hardware and software resources to ensure smooth operations.
2. Contribute actively to the design and management CFT’s integrated information systems, working closely with the University’s IT department for seamless integration.
3. Play a key role in the development of CFT’s Teaching & Learning Data Intelligence Platform and AI-powered education initiatives.
4. Support other technical tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements:
1. Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
2. Strong proficiency in programming and AI development.
3. Prior work experience at a top-tier IT company is preferred. Hands-on experience with deploying LLMs is preferred.
4. Passion for AI+X applications, particularly in the field of education.
5. Strong sense of responsibility, high personal standards, and self-motivation. Excellent communication skills.
