Job Description & Tasks:
As a Process Improvement & Documentation Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
1,Process Mapping and Analysis: Collaborating with subject matter experts across manufacturing and R&D to understand current state processes. Creating detailed process flow diagrams using BPMN or other relevant methodologies. Analyzing existing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
2,Documentation Development: Developing clear, concise, and standardized documentation for mapped processes, including process narratives, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensuring documentation is easily accessible and understandable for relevant stakeholders.
3,Workshop Facilitation (as needed): Leading or participating in workshops with cross-functional teams to gather process information and validate process maps.
4,Software Utilization: Effectively using process mapping software tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Signavio) to create and maintain process diagrams and documentation.
5,Continuous Improvement Support: Identifying opportunities for process optimization based on analysis and documentation. Supporting the implementation of process improvements.
6,Stakeholder Collaboration: Working closely with department heads and team members to ensure process documentation aligns with operational needs and quality standards.
7,Documentation Maintenance: Regularly reviewing and updating process documentation to reflect changes in operations and ensure accuracy.
