1. Develop and enhance insurance application system per SDLC cycle with focus on user requirement study and analysis, solution design, and overall project deliverables.
2. Conduct accurate requirement study on both business and application systems under responsible areas, either independently (small to medium scale tasks) or under the guidance of the supervisor (large size projects).
3. Formulate feasible and optimal solution based on business requirements, produce quality analysis and design on assigned tasks, provide technical support and guide programmers throughout the project lifecycle, and conduct hands-on application development work whenever needed.
4. Review design/architecture and technical specifications to ensure the system development is scalable and aligned with business objectives.
5. Ensure the implementation of software and IT solutions are accurate with high quality; and the complete documentation is provided per SDLC required.
6. Ensure the IT solution is compliance with group IT standard, security policies, and regulatory requirement.
7. Assist in building up the team’s capabilities on various technical and business areas.
8. Provide appropriate guidance and manage our external partners on delivering various business solutions within agreed timeline and budget.
9. Internal relationship: various stakeholders from various IT team.
10. External relationship: work with assigned external service providers and offshore team on delivering IT solutions.
11. No or minimum travel is needed.
Your Skills and Experience:
1. Bachelor degree of Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
2. Minimum 5 years of relevant experiences in system analysis, designs and development.
3. Experience in implementing and supporting B2C, B2B and/or large-scale project/system.
4. Experience in General insurance industry is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE:
1. Proficient in programming using PL/SQL, shell scripting, and multiple database management skills like Oracle, MSSQL etc.
2. Experience in Web Services (REST & SOAP Web Services), Oracle Forms, JSON, XML, openAPI concept is a plus.
