Formally established in June 2022, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou)(HKUST(GZ)) is a cooperatively-run university between the Chinese mainland and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. HKUST(GZ) has obtained approval from the Ministry of Education (MoE) and become the first legally-independent educational institution co-established by the Mainland and Hong Kong since the announcement and implementation of the “Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area” and the “Overall Plan for Deepening Globally Oriented Comprehensive Co-operation amongst Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao in Nansha of Guangzhou”. Duties
1. Manage multiple IT technical projects, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.
2. Develop and maintain detailed project plans; monitor project progress and performance; prepare regular status reports for Director/Vice Director.
3. Good knowledge in IT Application Development and Integration projects to provide technical insights, evaluate solutions, and contribute to solution design.
4. Organizing and facilitate project meetings; document and distribute meeting minutes and action items.
5. Ensure all project activities adhere to university policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
6. Provide clear leadership and direction to project teams; foster a collaborative and high performing team environment
7. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, proactive attitude, and commitment to project and organizational goals.


任职要求:
Qualification Requirements
1. Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager within an IT environment; 5-8 years of experience is preferred.
3. Practical knowledge and experience in one or more of the following domains: Smart Living, IoT, or Digital Payment solutions
4. Strong technical background with a solid understanding of software development, system integration, and IT infrastructure.
5. Proficiency in using project management software tools.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail. 
8. Demonstrated experience in managing and developing people within project teams.
9. Fluency in both English and Chinese, with effective oral and written communication skills in both languages.
10. Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable. 

This is a Mainland appointment, and the appointee will be offered a contract by HKUST(GZ) entity in accordance with the Mainland labor laws and regulations.
