Roles and Responsibilities:
· Define the to-be Architecture with of the overall Enterprise Architecture vision, ensuring the Application, Digital, Data and Integration architecture align with the business and growth strategies of AIA.

· Lead and govern the design and realization of the overall architecture of AIAIT driven programmes and projects as necessary, ensuring adherence to architecture vision, standards and policies

· Ensure consistency of the AIAIT Architecture with the Information and Technical and Security architecture frameworks.

· Manage and coordinate architecture governance to ensure IT projects and activities are aligned with target architecture, principles, and guidelines

· Formulate leading edge application, digital, data and integration technology roadmap providing a source of competitive advantage for AIA, to include harnessing the latest cloud and xaaS capabilities

· Define Guidelines and Standards for Application, Digital, Data and Integration Design and Development Cycle. Govern architecture and design in the projects

· Forecast new and emerging technologies to determine suitability for AIA current and future needs, leading the research and evaluation process to ensure the AIAIT Application, Digital, Data and Integration Standards adopt the appropriate technologies as they mature

· Work closely with multiple departments within AIAIT and AIA ***** business units to develop prototypes to nimbly test feasibility of new concepts.

· Contribute to technical discussions and enhancement initiatives related to improving customer experience, usability and latest technologies.



Job Requirements:

· Undergraduate degree in IT or related function mandatory

· At least 10 years IT experience mandatory

· Significant demonstrable experience working in an IT Technical Architecture or Enterprise Architecture function in a multi-national company or leading management consultancy mandatory

· Insurance or financial services industry experience mandatory

· Strong relationship management and influencing skills at a senior level

· A deep understanding end experience delivering cloud, SOA and xaaS architectures, cloud generic experience like container/docker, container orchestra/Kubernetes, DevOps/Agile

· Familiarity of at least 2 of the following LOMA, ACORD, ARIS modeling, Zachman and especially TOGAF is preferable

· Broad experience with various technologies microservice, event messaging such as KAFKA, RabitMQ technologies, application design and architecture, such as Java, iOS, Android, NET, VB and AS/400

· Experience of integrating with web services and social APIs (XML, JSON, REST, OAuth, Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, etc)

· Significant experience of defining and gaining agreement for data architecture and architecting major transformations to deliver primary business capabilities, including Big Data, Datalake, Predictive Analytics, MDM, operational systems, business information and analytical systems

· Sound understanding of Project Management methodology and SDLC, Big Data, NLP/ML/AI

· Fluent English mandatory, Cantonese and Putonghua preferable

Experience of working in different Asia countries preferable
