Responsibilities
Oversee all design projects, from conception to delivery
Design original pieces, including illustrations and infographics
Produce consistent, professional design work and demonstrate a strong understanding of design principles, layout, typography, color, and aesthetics
Refine images, fonts and layouts using graphic design software
Generate ideas to portray concepts and advertise products/services
Ownership of italki brand design. Look at ways italki can evolve its existing brand touchpoints to ensure the brand showcases best-in-class impact through our design
Work with other marketing designers to evolve the visual expression of our brand and keep it up to date. Communicate the what and the why of these standards through all levels of our company
Evolve italki's visual identity across product and business verticals as we continue to scale globally
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools
Conceptualize ideas and generate content from a variety of ideas

Requirements
Bachelor+ Degree in Graphic Design, Art or equivalent
5+ years of full-time experience as a Graphic designer for digital platforms
Proficient in product design software (e.gInDesign) Sketch or Figma, and image creative software (eg. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, others in Adobe Suites, etc.)
Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colors, fonts and layouts
Attention to visual details
Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with stakeholders to establish goals, outcomes and timelines for deliverables
Understand characteristics of target audience and find effective ways to reach them
Not only be artistic and innovative in creativity but entrepreneurial and analytical, knowing when to adopt different creative styles
Portfolio demonstrating your previous digital work is required
Well versed in project planning and management
High energy and proactive mindset
Spoken and written skills in English (with intermediate Mandarin)

Experience with landing page design with Webflow is a huge plus!
Experience with animation is a plus
Experience in a start-up or e-commerce environment
