Solution Analyst
解决方案分析师

Location: Guangzhou

Role Introduction:

This role is responsible for ensuring requirements are mapped and documented to functional and technical specifications for software development projects and enhancements through working with various internal and external stakeholders and leveraging external and internal resources to deliver quality and working software application(s) that is aligned with business vision and goal in the delivered software application.

Key Responsibilities:

1、Analyse requirements and assess detailed solutions options from a system perspective

2、Support solution design and contribute expertise and detailed knowledge to ensure high level design decisions are able to be delivered

3、Full conversion, creation, alignment, traceability and successful mapping requirements into functional and technical specifications

4、To ensure requirements are mapped and documented to functional and technical specifications for software development projects.

5、Contribute expertise in supporting the development of technical specification

6、Hands on technical development and implementation is required

7、Carry out level 2 and level 3 incident supports for in-production systems and manage end user expectations.

8、Review the Application Development vendors on development and implementation work as required

9、Oversee and QA the development of all solution components ensuring this meets
requirements and complies with all relevant Cathay Pacific standards

10、Contribute and follow standards and frameworks for development

11、Collaborate with other IM domains to drive innovation

12、Keep abreast of the business strategy, business plan and latest industrial trends.

1)Emergency and Accident and Crisis Response responsibilities as required

Qualifications/ Experience:

1)A minimum of 6 years of IT with at least 3 years in application development and support
2)Strong interpersonal skills; promoting healthy relationships and team dynamics with internal and external stakeholders
3)Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and creativity; strong troubleshooting skills; ability to identify patterns and generate ideas
4)With experience in supporting Peoplesoft Core HR, Absence and Payroll.
5)With technical skill in Peopletools (Peoplecode, App designer, Integration Broker, XML publisher and SQR)
6)Experience in Agile delivery model is an added advantage
7)Good understanding of technology concepts, trends and capabilities
8)Effective verbal and written communication skill
9)Familiar with Hong Kong Employee Ordinance & Employee Compensation Ordinance is beneficial
10)Candidates with less experience may be considered as Solution Specialist.
