Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
COMAC Program Manager is in charge to assist the VP Program COMAC in all program management activities and to maintain and develop all the network relationships needed by SAFRAN to support its business. The perimeter includes C909, C919, C929 and any other program developed or aimed to be developed by COMAC in the future. The exact allocation of programs among the team will be decided by the COMAC VP Program and might be adjusted depending on the business needs.
COMAC Program Manager main missions are the following:
- Assist COMAC VP program on COMAC Program daily program management
- Monitor the existing activities performed by SAFRAN Companies on COMAC Programs.
- Develop the relationship and the network of SAFRAN with COMAC by identifying the key contributors and putting them in relationship with the relevant stakeholders in SAFRAN.
- Organize regular meetings with COMAC to share program progress and status, and elaborate action plans to fix issues and support customer milestones in close coordination of the relevant SAFRAN Companies involved.
- Organize Program Coordination meetings on his perimeter to favor information sharing between SAFRAN companies involved in the relevant perimeter and to create the SAFRAN community.
- Elaborate weekly status of the relevant programs progress at aircraft level as well as for all Safran products installed on the programs.
- Prepare high level synthesis/notes for SAFRAN internal reviews on the programs. The content may vary depending on the context, the situation and the specific needs raised by the Group.
- Monitor the activity of SAFRAN competitors involved in the current programs and edit an activity report per year.
- Support and assist the Companies of SAFRAN Group in the development of their activities and relationship with COMAC on the civil aircraft programs:
61 Organizing and making appointment with customers, suppliers and partners in China
61 Assistance to representatives of group companies as part of their missions in China
61 Management of any specific issues requiring close coordination with customers
61 Linguistic support English-Chinese / Chinese-English translation
61 Logistic support
- Organize or participate in the risk consolidation and report to Safran HQ.
- Measure and control the satisfaction level of the customer, perform annual survey and elaborate action plan
- Other tasks may be assigned by COMAC VP Program.

Profile required:
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- Engineering study background
- Experience in Engineering / Program management
- Experience in customer relationship management
- Good knowledge of COMAC
- Good knowledge of SAFRAN Group will be a plus
- Organizational and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to communicate effectively and to present a large portfolio of activities
- Good relationship and ability to take initiatives
- Good knowledge of Power Point, PDF and Excel
- Rigorous, dynamic, autonomous, outgoing personality
- Languages:
61 Chinese: mother language
61 English: fluent
61 French would be a plus
- Activity based in Shanghai but a few travels may be required every year in China and occasionally abroad
