Position Overview
To successfully fulfill this role, candidates must be capable of effectively performing the following primary responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for the design and planning of civil engineering facilities within industrial engineering projects.
Collect, organize, and validate client input; coordinate with design institutes to ensure technical requirements are reflected in drawings.
Participate in selecting materials and brands to meet process functional requirements.
Review construction drawings, guide construction teams to execute according to drawings, and resolve on-site technical issues.
Organize and lead construction acceptance inspections, modifications for rectification items, and subsequent handover procedures.
Collaborate with other project teams (e.g., electrical, automation, HVAC engineering) to coordinate interdisciplinary interfaces and ensure overall project progress aligns with schedules.
Work closely with production process departments to understand their requirements; Coordinate with Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) departments to establish safety protocols; manage service agreements and spare parts supply with ***** and global suppliers.
Support managers, project leads, engineers, and technicians within the discipline by preparing reports and presentations, developing improvement plans and new solutions to enhance safety, quality, and cost reduction.
Oversee (small-scale) project management to ensure safe, high-quality, and on-time delivery.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications. These requirements represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of on-site civil management experience in industrial engineering projects.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
Excellent report writing capabilities.
Proficient in CAD software, Microsoft Project, and project management skills, with the ability to apply them flexibly in daily work.
Preference given to candidates with BEV project experience.
Preference given to candidates with experience in facility greenfield/brownfield projects.
Preference given to candidates holding relevant certifications such as Registered HVAC Engineer, Public Utilities Engineer, or Water Supply and Drainage Engineer; must possess a team-oriented spirit.
Strong on-site problem-solving abilities.
Extensive experience in fire protection system retrofits.
