Position Summary:
As a Technical Project Manager (TPM) in Molex’s Copper Solutions Business Unit you will be leading a highly motivated, world-wide, cross functional team through the New Product Development Process from Project Initiation Approval to the Start of Production. You are comfortable leading WW cross functional teams, working directly with customers, mentoring team members, solving problems, and making/being accountable for project-level decisions. You have strong project management experience in “technical” business environments.
You thrive on moving the needle to achieve business objectives that will take Molex and our customers to the next level.
What You Will Do In Your Role
61 Simultaneously lead multiple New Product Development projects for customer specific and general market projects.
61 Ensure Molex key technology projects seamlessly support our customer’s finished good project deliverables through close collaboration and effective communication with our customer.
61 Develop internal & external facing Project Charters that clearly articulate project strategy, scope, financials, and schedule.
61 Manage Project Change Control and Decision Documentation.
61 Lead Project Plan development, management, and closure (transfer to production owner).
61 Own and develop Macro Project Schedules and understand and hold accountable Functional Team Members supporting Micro Schedules.
61 Proactively identify, document, and execute risk reduction activities to minimize Project Risks associated with Cost, Quality, and/or Timing that could negatively affect Project Plan achievement.
61 Own Project Reporting communication to both Management and Customers.
61 Lead and mentor team members in project management principles, PDP processes, risk management, issue resolution, decision making, etc.
61 Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

61 Experience leading multi-national teams in a matrixed organization
61 Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, manufacturing, supply management, or related field
61 Strong presentation and communication skills
61 Strong organizational, interpersonal, & decision-making skills
61 Ability to work mornings and evenings to participate in North America to Asia Pacific meetings
61 Willingness to obtain PMP certification within 1 year
61 Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 15% of time
61 Self-driven with ability to thrive in a remote working environment
61 Fluency in English & Mandarin
