Responsibilities:
61 Take total ownership of one or more New Product Development projects
61 Lead the Core Team toward a common objective.
61 Manage resources:
o Ensure the project is “staffed for success”
o Negotiate with functional managers and Project Approval Committee (PAC) to alleviate resource constraints as needed
61 "Discipline the System"
o Ensure that the team are operating according to the development process
o Keep people focused on the matters at hand as well as their area of responsibility
o Report out project status to PAC following contract date
61 Be proactive to take actions and get thing done
61 Resolve conflict and controversial issues
Qualification:
61 5-10 years working experience in project management area or equivalent
61 Leadership proven skills in developing, and managing teams
61 Demonstrated Ability to create effective project plans, risk management, uncertainty management
61 knowledge of project management techniques and tools
61 Knowledge of manufacturing processes
61 Knowledge of a matrix organization and how to navigate it
61 Project management expertise to drive time to market balanced with commitment to quality
61 Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
61 Good oral English
61 Qualification in project management or equivalent, PMP is preferred
