We are seeking a Planning Manager to lead the development and execution of global planning strategies across our supply chain network. This individual will play a critical role in driving alignment across business units, regional operations in Asia, and corporate supply chain functions to ensure planning capabilities and processes enable scalable, efficient growth.
What You Will Do
61 Design and lead long-term, cross-functional supply chain planning strategies in alignment with enterprise and business unit objectives.
61 Serve as a strategic thought partner to business leaders and operations teams, helping to identify opportunities for supply chain optimization and risk mitigation.
61 Drive standardization and continuous improvement of planning practices, tools, and governance across global planning teams.
61 As a part of GSOP&E (Global Supply Operations Planning & Execution), you will support in the monthly GSOP&E activities and lead planning review meetings, as needed. You will help to drive better decision making, strategic planning, capacity investment, capacity mapping and operational execution across plants and global operations, ensuring Supply Chain is meeting customer demand and scaling operations at the speed of the market.
61 Assess and optimize planning system integration across SAP, APS, and Rapid Response to support strategic forecasting and capacity planning.
61 Help support in strategic initiatives such as inventory optimization, network capacity modeling, LT improvements and scenario planning.
61 Helps to drive Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) on Plan Attainment/Schedule Adherence to MPS.
61 Help to support and coordinate decisions around product segmentation (MTS, ATO, and MTO).
61 Acts as the center of excellent for planning activities and influences the End-to-End supply chain for products moving into and out of the manufacturing plant.
61 Supports in the delivery performance to Customer Request Date and Molex Promise Date.
61 Develop and implement talent strategies for planning professionals across sites, including training programs, skill development, and knowledge-sharing forums.
61 Champion data-driven decision-making using tools like Power BI and advanced analytics platforms.
61 Foster and reinforce Molex’s Principle Based Management64 (PBM64) culture and values across the planning community.
Who You Are
61 Bachelor’s Degree or Master Degree in Industrial Operations Engineering, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain or Business Management. (MBA or Master’s degree preferred).
61 Prior experience managing a team in Supply Chain, with a proven track record of solving high value problems with minimal guidance. Must be a self-starter.
61 Willing to travel 1-2 weeks per month, as needed, between Vietnam (Hung Yen), Singapore and China (Dongguan).
61 Minimum of 7 years of experience in Supply Chain Strategy, Planning, or Operations, ideally in a global manufacturing environment.
61 Proven track record of leading cross-functional, strategic planning initiatives.
61 Strong knowledge of ERP (SAP), APS tools, and advanced planning systems such as Kinaxis Rapid Response.
61 Highly analytical, with experience using tools like Power BI, Analysis Office, SAP HANA or equivalent for planning and performance reporting.
61 Excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills.
