Role Purpose:

Test pre-release game on multiple platforms such as PC, XBOX ONE, PlayStation4, and Nintendo Switch. Check all related printed materials. To ensure quality of written and spoken translation in Simplified/Traditional Chinese and to ensure conformity with format holder requirements.

Responsibilities:

Test pre-release game and work closely with *****ization Specialists and Production teams:

- To ensure translation of terminology in games meets requirement of first party

- To ensure in-game language (text and voice over) quality meets internal quality standards

- To report translation errors accurately and efficiently and verify the fixing

- To verify translation of printed materials related to game when required

- To provide translations for in-game text and printed materials as and when required

Key skills

Essential:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Chinese, including familiarity with Chinese culture and custom

- Good verbal and written communication skills in English

- Good skill of MS word, excel and outlook

Desirable:

- Traditional Chinese native

- English major

- Previous games industry experience

- Previous translation experience

- Games player (Interest in games)

- 准确、高效地找出并且报告翻译错误，并验证修改后的翻译

- 需要时验证游戏相关的印刷材料的翻译质量

- 需要时为游戏文本和印刷材料提供翻译

核心技能

基本要求：

- 优秀的中文读写及听说能力，熟悉中国文化及风俗

- 良好的英文读写及听说能力

- 能够熟练使用Microsoft word, excel 及 outlook
