Technical delivery of battery analytics to customers:
61 Implementing and adapting cloud battery algorithms to evaluate performance, lifetime and safety of batteries in live operating environments
61 Understand customer requirements and translate into technical solutions
61 Ensure validity of outputs in automated environment
61 Support customers in interpreting results of products
61 Where necessary, aid and advise more junior members of the team in technical tasks
61 Understanding the limitations of technical implementations
Experience & Qualifications:
Details of the experience needed to be successful in the role, the qualifications essential/desirable to be able to fulfil the role
and any specific behavioural traits.
Essential:
61 2+ years’ experience in Data Science/Data Engineering
61 Masters level qualification in a STEM subject
61 Strong experience with Python and its wider numerical & scientific ecosystem (e.g. numpy, scipy, pandas / polars)
61 Experience in the battery domain (e.g. electrothermal battery modelling, battery state estimation & diagnostics)
61 Experience in version control and CI/CD frameworks (e.g. Github, Gitlab, Azure DevOps etc.)
61 Knowledge of cloud services, such as AWS and Azure.
61 Ability to work largely independently
Beneficial:
61 Understanding of physics-based battery models (e.g. DFN, SPM etc.)
61 Familiarity with data engineering, data pipelines, database management.
61 Experience in MATLAB
61 Experience in supervisory or line management positions
