Position Description
PBM, Procurement Brand Manager manages the overall Procurement process for CNBU. PBM represents Procurement in the ODT and interlocks with Team on cost, sourcing & supply management. To a greater extent this involves risk mitigation & strategies in the procurement arena.
This role mainly works with internal customers and participates on Offering Development Teams (ODTs). Internal cross function interactions will mainly involve an exchange of information for analysis, decision making, and strategy development:
1.Problem Solving - This role executes more in-depth tasks. Apply CNBU product
launch process to identify and resolve issues. Capable to accommodate & deliver business requirements by optimizing process & cost.
2.Facilitate communication between Procurement/ Supply Chain/ Dev and other organizations.
3.Develop NPI sourcing plan
4.Participate in sourcing decision making activities to the BU
5.Responsible for team review on supply chain assessment and commitment
6.Assist Procurement organization with special assignments as required
Position Requirements
Minimum Education & Experience: Bachelor degree in business, engineering, or related discipline
Min 8 years in procurement/supply chain in server industry is preferable
PMP certification is preferred
Self-motivator & strong sense of project management / communications skills
