The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, and closure of a project to develop and industrialize a product that meets (internal or external) stakeholder requests, within agreed budget, quality and timescale. He ensures proper communication and ensure information flow within the team and all project stakeholders. The Project Manager:
74 manage airbag control unit (ACU) projects, of which the engineering leading location is in China, for the entire project life cycle according to Continental Automotive’s project development rules.
74 controls the profitability of the product according to the awarded conditions and the project approval.
74 uses defined processes and methods to monitor, control and report project status and product maturity according to milestones (Gate Reviews).
74 defines and implements appropriate countermeasures to contain risks and overcome issues
74 manages change and problem resolution activities, including impacts to project timing, budget and risks.
